Overview

FlexiPay Rules is a Shopify app that helps merchants manage deposits, split payments, Shopify invoice collection, storefront terms, customer portals, and merchant support workflows.

What we process

  • Merchant account and store details needed to run the app inside Shopify.
  • Product, rule, payment plan, and invoice-related data created through the app.
  • Customer contact details such as name, email, and order context when a payment plan or support request requires them.
  • Accepted terms snapshots, support messages, and basic device or request metadata used for security and audit logs.

What we do not handle

  • FlexiPay Rules does not store customer card details.
  • Payments are collected through Shopify checkout or Shopify draft order invoice flows.
  • The app is designed to keep payment collection inside Shopify wherever possible.

How information is used

  • To authenticate merchants and load the app inside Shopify admin.
  • To create and manage payment rules, payment plans, reminders, and customer-facing schedule details.
  • To generate Shopify invoice workflows and customer portal records tied to payment plans.
  • To store accepted terms and plan snapshots so merchants have an audit trail for orders created through the app.
  • To answer merchant support tickets, maintain service quality, and investigate incidents or bugs.

Sharing and subprocessors

  • Shopify APIs are used to retrieve store data and create Shopify-native billing or invoice flows.
  • Infrastructure providers, database systems, and transactional email providers may process data only as needed to operate the service.
  • We do not sell merchant or customer personal data.
  • We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the security, integrity, or rights of the app, merchants, or customers.

Security, retention, and control

Security

  • Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
  • Access to operational systems is limited to authorized team members.
  • Audit trails and support records are used to investigate operational issues.

Retention

  • Payment plan, invoice, and terms records are retained while needed to support merchant operations and compliance needs.
  • Support records may be retained to maintain service history and diagnose future issues.
  • Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized according to operational retention practices.

Merchant rights

  • Merchants can contact us to request privacy information or operational help.
  • Shopify privacy webhooks are supported for the required customer data redaction and access workflows.
  • Merchants can uninstall the app at any time through Shopify.
